BHADERWAH FESTIVAL
Bhaderwah festival is a four day annual festival organized by Bhaderwah Development Authority in collaboration with District Administration Doda of Jammu and Kashmir. The festival was introduced with an idea to promote tourism sector of the region. Bhaderwah has a plenty of tourist attractions such as high altitude Seodhar meadows, Jai Valley, Nalthi, Gatha, Khellani, etc. However, these areas still need to be explored in a better way.
During this festival, various government departments and private organizations set up their stalls to provide direct communication about the schemes and a variety of products. A range of cultural activities are performed to show their regional art and culture. Apart from business, art and culture activities, sports and tourist activities are the other features of the festival. Every year, Bhaderwah witness significant influx of tourists to the region during Bhaderwah festival. That time, authority provides adequate transport facilities are provided so that commuter would not face any inconvenience during the festival.
