How to Reach Pahalgam

Pahalgam By Road

Pahalgam is well connected to Srinagar (95 km/59 miles) and Jammu (285 km/177 miles) by buses on NH1 A and then road takes diversion from Anantnag (39 km). Taxi (Tata Sumo) services are also available from Srinagar and Jammu to Pahalgam.

Pahalgam By Train

The nearest major railheads are Jammu Tawi (285 km/177 miles) and Udhampur (219 km/136 miles). The Uttar Samparkranti Express plies to Udhampur from New Delhi Railway station every day in a week. Trains like Andaman Express (Chennai), Jammu Rajdhani (New Delhi) and Jhelum Express (Pune) are some of the trains connect Jammu from their respective stations.

Srinagar Airport is the nearest airport to the Pahalgam. Srinagar (95 km) receives regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai, and Jammu and so on. Taxi services are available at the airport. Taxi fare ranges from Rs.2500-3000/-.
