HOW TO REACH SANASAR
Sanasar By Road
A remote village has its own unique pros and cons not understood by many. At one hand it is good because it prevents from overcrowding and allows you to maintain your culture whereas on the other hand you are cut off from the world. It is good as well as bad, the way you want to look at it.
Sanasar is a little off from National Highway, there is no direct bus service to Sanasar. Buses ply from various places upto Patnitop (17 km) and the remaining distance is being covered by private taxi or pony ride. Tourists may also hire direct taxi directly from Jammu to Sanasar.
Sanasar By Train
The nearest railhead is Udhampur (57 km). Although much farther away is Jammu, another major railhead.
Sanasar By Air
Jammu (Satwari Airport) is the nearest airport to Sanawar. Jammu airport receives direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Srinagar, Leh, Pune, Ahmadabad, Goa, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Jaipur operated by airlines like Air India, GoAir, Indigo, JetKonnect, Spicejet and Kingfisher. From Jammu, tourists can hire Private taxi to Sanasar.
