for Check in Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir, is a popular
tourist destination known for its picturesque landscapes, serene lakes, and
historical attractions. Here are some of the top sightseeing spots in
Srinagar.After doing check in you will do following things -
This sightseeing point will be on your way to the Srinagar
The Zero Bridge is a prominent landmark in Srinagar, Jammu and
Kashmir. It is a bridge located on the Jhelum River, connecting the Raj
Bagh area with the Sonwar locality.
This sightseeing point you will cover in 3 hours after having lunch
- Shalimar Garden: One of the renowned Mughal gardens in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, located on the eastern bank of Dal Lake. Known for its stunning beauty and historical significance.
- Nishat Bagh: Also known as the "Garden of Joy," this beautiful Mughal garden is located on the eastern side of Dal Lake in Srinagar. It is one of the largest and most well-known Mughal gardens in the Kashmir Valley.
- Chashma Shahi: A beautiful Mughal garden in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, known for its stunning architecture, natural springs, and picturesque surroundings.
- Shikara Ride: In the evening, enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake, a popular and iconic activity in Srinagar. Experience the scenic beauty and glide along the calm waters in a traditional wooden boat, a must-do for visitors.

After Breakfast you will be going to Gulmarg. Gulmarg has one of
the best ski slopes in the world, and one of the highest golf courses
in the world with 18 hole. Gulmarg is a popular hill station located in
the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is known for its
scenic beauty, snow-capped mountains, and adventure sports
opportunities . After reaching you will go for Gandola Ride .The gondola
operates in two stages, taking visitors to Kongdori and then further up to
Apharwat Peak. The ride provides an opportunity to witness stunning
panoramic views of the Himalayan rang.
Return back in the evening to Srinagar for overnight Stay in Hotel.
After breakfast drive to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from
Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to
Sonmarg 2690 mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit
Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is
known as Gateway of Ladakh. Overnight stay at Srinagar hotel.
On the way to sonmarg you will do following sightseeing Total time for
covering these points and reaching sonmarg will be 2 hrs
- Sindh River: Enroute to Sonamarg, you'll pass by the Sindh River, a beautiful river that flows through the valley. Take a moment to enjoy the serene views and capture some photographs.
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam En-route, visiting the saffron
fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord
Vishnu built by the King Avantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful
countryside. Drive through the pine forests, local sightseeing
around awesome scenery of pahalgam and mind relaxing view of
“The valley of Shepherds”. En route you will have a rare opportunity
to visit the Saffron fields. Return back in the evening to Pahalgam
for overnight Stay in Hotel.
On the way to Pahalgam you will do the following sightseeing it will
take 4 hrs to reach pahalgam-
- Awantipura: Famous for its two Hindu temples, Awantiswami Temple and Avantiswami Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. These temples are constructed in the distinctive Kashmiri architectural style.
- Saffron Fields: On your journey, you’ll pass through the saffron fields of the Pampore area, known for saffron cultivation. If the timing is right, you may witness the vibrant purple flowers in bloom.
- Martand Sun Temple: On the way to Pahalgam, make a short detour to visit the Martand Sun Temple. This ancient Hindu temple, dedicated to the Sun God, is known for its impressive architecture and historical significance.
You will have to start early for the following sight seeing it will take 4 - 5
hours for all the below-mentioned sight seeing
- Betaab Valley: Located about 15 kilometers from Pahalgam, Betaab Valley is named after the Bollywood movie "Betaab." Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, pine forests, and gushing streams, it offers a breathtaking view of nature’s beauty.
- Aru Valley: Situated about 12 kilometers from Pahalgam, Aru Valley is known for its meadows, gushing rivers, and stunning landscapes. It also serves as a base camp for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar-Marsar Lakes.
- Chandanwari: Located around 16 kilometers from Pahalgam, Chandanwari is the starting point for the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. It is known for its picturesque beauty, snow-clad mountains, and the Lidder River flowing through it.
- Lidder Valley: Formed by the Lidder River flowing through Pahalgam, Lidder Valley offers mesmerizing views of lush green meadows, dense forests, and snow-covered peaks. Activities like fishing and river rafting can also be enjoyed here.
Return back in the evening to Pahalgam for an overnight Stay in
Hotel.
