WHERE TO STAY IN SANASAR?
Sanasar being an unexplored and remote area has only J&KTDC’s tourist’s bungalows and self contained huts. These are well equipped with basic modern amenities and good services. However, power cuts, poor mobile network coverage, lack of telephone and internet facilities are the major hurdles for the tourist’s inflow in Sanasar hotels. At a distance of 17 km from Sanasar, Patnitop offers far better amenities and accommodation facilities. As a result, accommodation in Patnitop is more expensive than the hotels in Sanasar. Thus, tourists mostly prefer to make excursion trip to Sanasar. In Sanasar hotels, a tourist would have to pay around Rs.400 to 1000 for a double room per night. For same requirement, it comes around Rs 600 to 3000 per night in Patnitop.
